Bollywood’s first superstar actress Sri Devi died of heart attack at 54 in Dubai

Bollywood legendary actress and the first superstar actress of Hindi cinema industry Sri died of massive cardiac arrest in Dubai while she was attending the grand wedding of Mohit Marwah. She was 54. Sanjay Kapoor, the brother of Boney Kapoor, has confirmed the death of the actress and told the media that she passed away around 11 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. on Saturday night on 24th February 2018. The iconic actress was the darling of the hearts. She left millions of her fans in the world who are mourning on her death now.

Sanjay Kapoor together with family members is in Dubai to bring the dead body of the actress back to Mumbai to perform the final rites of the veteran actress. Entire Bollywood industry is mourning and shocked on the death of Sri Devi who left behind husband Boney Kapoor and two daughter – Janvhi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

By the time Sri Devi suffered heart attack at the wedding, she was with husband Boney and daughter Khushi. Her elder sister Janvhi could not join them as she was shooting for her debut film ‘Dhadak’. Sri Devi’s last film was ‘Mom’ released in 2017. Her performance in the movie was much liked. She did guest appearance in ‘Zero’ Shah Rukh Khan’s movie to be released on Christmas in 2018. Her iconic movies, which her fans, will always remember are Mr. India, Chandani, Chaalbaz, Lamhe and Judaai.
